Having access to higher education is a key opportunity for young men of color. Scholarships are financial aid awards designed to help students not only pay for college but, take care of school fees, books and supplies, and sometimes living expenses.

Scholarships developed for existing Blue Heart Members

Description: This scholarship is awarded to the young men

of blue heart who take leadership roles within the organization;

Pres., VP, Step leader, Group leader

Awarded Amount: $1000.00

Description: This scholarship is awarded to Blue Heart Members

who currently attends and completed their first year

with Morehouse College

Amount: $1000,00

Description: This scholarship is awarded to current Blue Heart Members

based on attendance and engagement in or virtual and in-person

workshops and educational events.

Awarded Amount: $100.00

Award Frequency: Quarterly

Description: The Blue Heart Guardian Scholarship recognizes college students

who came from the foster care system. We celebrate those who have risen above

their circumstances no matter what the condition.

Awarded Amount: $2,000.00

Award Frequency: Annually

The Guardian Scholarship

Blue Heart started out serving the foster youth community in our early days. And Mckayla, who is a now a successful college student, was also in the foster care system. She is the example that you can rise above your circumstances no matter what they are!
