I’m beyond excited to welcome a dear friend and powerhouse public servant, Dayna Williams-Hunter, as the new Vice Chair of The Blue Heart Foundation!
💙Tracy and I first met Dayna back in 2015 when we collaborated on a powerful celebrity event she created in Los Angeles. Her energy, heart for the community, and fierce commitment to uplifting others made an immediate impact—and she’s been family ever since. From the City of Hawthorne to the heart of Blue Heart, Dayna brings a wealth of experience, deep passion, and a track record of servant leadership that aligns beautifully with our mission to build kings.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️🎉🎉
Dayna Williams-Hunter is a dedicated public servant and community advocate, proudly serving as Hawthorne, California's first African-American City Clerk. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Dayna spent her formative years in Los Angeles, where she graduated from Susan Dorsey High School.
She holds a bachelor's degree in communication and a master's degree in education. Dayna has been a successful entrepreneur for more than 15 years. Her ventures include a boutique public relations firm, a concierge beauty brand and an aerial photography company. She served as President for Our Commitment, Inc, a 501(c)3 organization for 7 years.

❓Brothers, Y’all Good?’ is and amazing podcast hosted by none other than Blue Heart Foundation’s own Board Member, Judge Michael DeWitt Washington, alongside his dynamic co-host, Jason Shanley.
Together, they’re leading real, unfiltered conversations about mental health in the Black community — conversations that align perfectly with Blue Heart’s mission to empower our young kings to prioritize emotional wellness from an early age.
At Blue Heart, we believe emotional wellness starts early. 💙✨
The 'Brothers, Y'all Good?' podcast opens up powerful conversations about Black men's mental health—conversations we want our young kings to grow up ready for. Through our Mindful HEART SEL program we're giving our young men the tools to manage emotions, build resilience, and break the stigma around mental health in our community. 🧠👑 Because building strong minds starts now.
Check them out every Tuesday on YouTube!

💪🏽Today’s Career & College Prep Workshop was on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥l!
Our very own Youth Coach, Dr. James Crawford, led a powerful session featuring First Fifty—a dynamic crew of Black professionals who are all about educating the community on Public Safety and showing up for the next generation.
🙏🏽 We were honored to hear from:
• Zach Brewster, President of First Fifty
• Andrew Strong, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Public Safety at the County
• Loan Shillinger, Attorney & President of the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association
• Garrett Frank, Federal Agent
• Judge Michael Washington
• Roosevelt Williams III, Entrepreneur & President of Young Black & In Business (YB&B)
💙 Each speaker came through with real stories, real advice, and a whole lot of wisdom—dropping gems on how they got where they are, the why behind what they do, and what it really takes to walk in purpose.💎💎
They kept it 💯 on what to do (and what not to do), encouraged our young kings to look within, and reminded them that their greatness is already inside—they just have to activate it.
👂And listen… Roosevelt Williams CLOSED it out with straight fire.🔥
He broke down what it means to F.O.C.U.$ on L.I.F.E. & Financial P.O.W.E.R.💪🏽
🎉Major shoutout to Jessica from Corner Bakery who came through with lunch combos for the crew—those chicken, ham, and turkey sandwiches hit the spot!😋
And finally—huge love and respect to Zach Brewster for founding First Fifty and bringing this incredible group of leaders to Blue Heart. This is what community looks like.👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

This past STEM Saturday was next level!💙
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
✊🏽 Much love to our partners at Black Tech Link, led by the powerhouse Elizabeth Cotton-Harps, for coming through with the tools and knowledge to light up our boys’ minds.
💪🏽With support from Qualcomm, the team guided our young kings through building mini computer systems from scratch using Raspberry Pi kits—and let’s just say, they understood the assignment.
⭐️This wasn’t just about plugging in wires. It was about problem-solving, critical thinking, and planting seeds in the next generation of Black innovators.
This is what tech empowerment looks like. This is how we’re Building Kings.👑👑
🔥And we’ve gotta show love to our new Visual Storyteller, Rashad Autman—a rising star behind the lens who’s already capturing the essence, energy, and excellence of Blue Heart.🎉
⭐️His eye is sharp, his vibe is on point, and his work speaks volumes. We’re proud to have him on the team as he helps bring our story to life—frame by frame.
✊🏽Stay tuned… you haven’t seen his work with us yet—we’re saving the best for last.💪🏽
