This Saturday we had a full house at our New Blue Family Orientation! 🤗 I want to thank both Christopher D. Ransom and Dr. James Crawford for assisting me with the presentation. 🙏🏾The Boys participated by
Sharing information about the program, and testimonials about their experiences in the program. They even ended the Orientation by performing a portion of the Step Routine.
Then on Sunday, we went to Bayview and had some Blue Heart Family Fun playing football, ping pong, and basketball before practicing the Step Routine and teaching a couple of returning Brother's our new moves.
It was a beautiful Blue Heart weekend, and I am excited to welcome our New Blues! 💙

Shout out to Junior Achievement of San Diego County! Working with them over the years has been so beneficial to our young men!💙In honor of Black History Month, we are highlighting local community-based organizations doing amazing work to empower black youth. These organizations provide leadership development and mentorship to uplift our black communities.
The Blue Heart Foundation is dedicated to empowering African American boys by instilling the mindset and skills to become leaders who inspire change in their communities.
FANCY Teen Girls Expo provides mentorship for girls of color and increases access to education and employment opportunities.
The Links to STEM program was created to help address the significant under‐representation of persons of color, especially women and African Americans, pursuing the STEM fields.

🚀 What a Weekend at Blue Heart! 💙✨
Saturday was all about college & career discovery with our very own youth coach, Dr. James Crawford! 🎓 And our college advisor, Julian Shojaie
They dropped gems on UCs, State Colleges, and Community Colleges, making sure our young kings know their options. But the real highlight? A virtual tour of Tuskegee University—one of the HBCUs we visited last year!
🔥 And even tied in Black History & government with powerful HBCU commencement speeches.
Then Sunday was all about good vibes and brotherhood! ⚡ The boys came together to kick back, have fun, and just enjoy each other’s company. No drills, no routines—just laughter, connection, and pure energy! And we even had a Future Baby Blue Member-in-training soaking it all in! 💪🏾🔥
