The Heart Award

PURPOSE The Blue Heart Foundation Scholarship was created provide financial assistance to participants of HEART Mentoring program and whom has been accepted for undergraduate studies at a four year college or university.  

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE is based on financial need, academic performance, leadership potential, and participation in The Blue Heart Foundation programs including but not limited to volunteer hours.  Scholarships are awarded annually provided funds are available.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

The Blue Heart Foundation awards scholarships on the basis of a comprehensive process.  Areas that are reviewed by the committee include, but are not limited to the following: Academic Accomplishments, Community Service, References, Personal Essay and Financial Need. The Blue Heart Foundation pays scholarship funds directly to the recipient. Scholarships are awarded each annually. The Blue Heart Foundation Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. Scholarships awarded are based upon the availability of funds and additional qualifying criteria
