Why Volunteering Is So Invaluable
Volunteering is deeply rooted in American society – last year, 77.3 million adults volunteered through an organization, giving almost $163 billion in economic value with their time.
In addition to the monetary value, volunteering provides tremendous benefits to individuals, organizations, and communities. Because of volunteering, organizations across the globe are empowered to provide free, important services to those in need.
Dedicating your time to community service results in countless benefits for yourself and the world around you.

- Getting exposure to the unique perspective of Black people
- Shifting perspectives about what being a contributing member of diverse society really means
